About the event
Practical Rifle 0800-1700
This class instructs students on the safe operation of modern semi automatic rifles. Course work is modeled after CSAT's Tactical Rifle Operator created by Paul Howe. Students will shoot from 7-100 yards with a majority of the training taking place from 100 yards in. Practical Rifle will give students the correct and proper shooting fundamentals for zeroing sights (iron/optics), weapon manipulation, appropriate shooting positions and developing a shooting plan.
This is an 8 hour course split into two sections. the first block will cover basic weapon handling and zeroing with an introduction to CSAT standards. The second block ill cover more indepth concepts and positions of shooting. If you have attended the 4 hour class feel free to attend the second block for a reduced price.
Cost:$160 both for both blocks, $90 for one
Equipment Needed:
Modern semi auto rifle
1 magazine (more if you have them)
Eye and Ear protection.
250 rounds for Rifle
Weather appropriate gear
